Rick Solomon, CPA, began his professional accounting career at Fred Landau & Co., a New York City-based, international CPA firm, after receiving his BBA degree from New York City's distinguished Bernard M. Baruch College.

Within a few years, Mr. Solomon started his own practice, and quickly became the fastest growing accounting firm on Long Island. As his practice flourished, he became increasingly aware that clients needed far more than just traditional accounting services. These businesses shared the need for a proactive business advisor who could help them with business and financial issues.

In 1990, Mr. Solomon left his practice to help other CPAs build their practices by applying his exclusive approach to practice development. He has accepted numerous invitations to speak at AICPA national conferences, state CPA society meetings, and other financial services industry events. His message has appeared in many industry and business-related publications, including a feature story in the Sunday edition of the New York Times. In addition to being recognized as a leading practice development consultant, Mr. Solomon consults and provides sales training to major national companies, such as Citibank, H&R Block, Paychex, and others, to help them further develop relationships with CPAs as valuable strategic partners.
